  Dr Ukoli completed a 3-year Residency training program in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital, Chicago, IL, and a 2-year Fellowship Training in Nephrology at the University of Illinois, before moving to Brownsville, TX to serve as Internist at the Brownsville Community Health Center (BCHC)  from 1994 to 1996. He founded Ukoli Care Clinic in April of 1996. The office was located in the same building as Brownsville Kidney Center at Central Blvd Brownsville for seventeen years, and moved to the present permanent,  free-standing location in September 2013.

Ukoli Care Clinic is a solo medical practice clinic that provides care in the specialty of Nephrology (kidney diseases). Dr Ukoli graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria, West Africa, in 1978. He practiced for eleven years in Nigeria, during which time, he completed Residency Training in General Medicine at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, and Fellowship Training in Internal Medicine with the Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. He later assumed a position as a Member of the Faculty of the Department of Medicine of the University of Sokoto, Nigeria, where he served as Interim Chairman of the Department for one year. He moved to Chicago, IL in 1989.
